January 2012

The beginning of a new season sees some changes coming to the Nacogdoches Crushers. Elections were held at the end of the year, and for the first time none of the founding members of the club were elected. This seems to indicate a maturing of the club in its membership as the reins are turned over after eight years to "newcomers." Josh Harris was elected President after serving as VP last year. Harold Ande, Jr., reigning Crushers' Champion, was elected as Vice President. Lissa Villamin becomes the first female officer since Lisa Norman in the club's inaugural year. She has been elected to Membership Director. At the same meeting, a new club charter was approved which cleared up how the club works eight years after being established. The new charter created a new officer position - Founder - which will be held permanently by Craig Lewis in recognition of establishing our club. Our club had over 45 dues paying members at the end of last year, and this year portends even more growth. Come out and support the Nacogdoches Crushers in 2012!
